If there’s one thing I can do well, it’s living as frugal and self sufficientish as possible.
I can’t do the things that society deems ‘normal’ (shopping for new clothes every week,
meals out, spending spending spending) and neither do I want to do that.
I get so much satisfaction through making preserves, cooking and baking,
sewing clothes and bags, crocheting, growing food and finding REAL bargains
that the materialistic bug rarely bites.
Ok, so if I see a nifty piece of equipment that makes one of my jobs easier I do think,
perhaps I could/should but it won’t be bought for the coming year or three…
at least not unless it’s second hand and a fraction of the normal cost!
I also share this frugal home with my husband, nearly 3 year old son,
a dog, over a dozen cats and 3 (soon to be 5) hens.
I hope you enjoy my blog!
